Community Organizing
Whether through developing our state-wide network of community groups or discussing local issues at our weekly Take-Action meetings, OneAmerica strongly believes in using activism and grassroots organizing as tools to build power in immigrant communities. Through various events and frequent meetings, our organizing team engages Washington’s diverse communities with the issues that affect them and mobilizes them to take action. Through our training and education programs, we cultivate new leadership at the local level to inspire and empower others. We also work alongside key allies and CIR roundtable members to support each other’s efforts to work towards positive change.
