Claire joined OneAmerica as the Office Assistant in November of 2010. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Claire has a homegrown interest in and commitment to furthering intelligent, humane and comprehensive immigration reform. Claire graduated from Scripps College in 2009 with a BA in English and a minor in Psychology. During her time at Scripps she also studied Spanish and studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland. She currently volunteers as a court appointed special advocate for low-income families with King County Family Law CASA and has worked with the University of Washington on developmental and community research projects to examine sexual risk factors among youth of color. Claire has experience as an administrative, fundraising and marketing assistant for organizations like the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance of the Claremont Colleges, the University of Arizona Women’s Resource Center and the Fox Tucson Theater Foundation. Claire has also completed her Yoga Certification and would like to invite anybody looking at the website to come to class at the Weller Building!
